he partying lifestyle of “high-maintenance” L.A. actress Sierra has spun out of control and her notorious on-set temper tantrums jeopardize her career. After an intervention lead by her tough director Mac she is whisked away to a clinic in the gorgeous Wasatch mountains of Utah far from the urban jungle where her every whim is catered to. Unable to handle the stern head of the clinic Sierra escapes the facility and arrives in the small town of Heber, Utah. There she meets Tyler, a handsome educated young man who has returned from studying Theatre at Yale University to help restore his family’s playhouse and take care of his loveable grandmother who runs a local B&B. Sierra joins the cast of his latest play Shakespeare’s “Taming of the Shrew” as Kate, and not only learns about “real acting” but develops a friendship with Jodi, the cute tomboyish director of the play who is secretly in love with Tyler. She also gets to know many of the quirky townspeople especially Scott the eccentric friend of Tyler’s who figures out who she is and begins to make a clandestine video “A Day in the Life of a Diva” to sell to the media.
